PRODUCT INFORMATION: Why Nut Chickpeas are a legume that is high in protein, high in fiber, vitamins B, A, C and E, as well as significant amounts of iron, zinc and magnesium. They are ideal for making salads, hummus, goulash or falafel.
TYPE OF USE: Chickpeas take 2-3 hours to cook. If you soak them overnight, the cooking time is reduced to 45-60 minutes. Add water if necessary. Salt or season only after cooking, otherwise the cooking time would be slow. If you want, you can combine it with meat or fresh, seasonal vegetables. You should never eat it raw - the pheasant poison spices it, and it is only cooked.
