ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Why Nut Freshly Ground Besan is a flour made from ground chickpeas. It contains a high percentage of carbohydrates and more dietary fiber compared to other flours. It can be used as part of a vegan and gluten-free diet.

USES: Chickpea flour can be used as a binder in croquettes and vegetarian patties, as a thickener for sauces, soups and stews, to make flatbreads and dough-based foods such as pancakes and waffles, and to make batter for frying other foods. It is also an excellent ingredient for combining with other flours to make quick breads, cookies and muffins.
